"Joining the CAIC was the smartest business decision I ever made in dealing with the City of Chicago." - Nancy C. Zidek, ADE, Inc.
Since 1967, the CAIC has been advocating for local industry. Through our Economic Development & Policy Council we are able to use the strength of our membership. The CAIC has successfully cultivated strategic partnerships with key organizations on local and state levels in order to take local industrial concerns directly to City Hall, the County, General Assembly and Congress.

While you're running your business, we are fighting for it. We've been fighting for local industry since 1967, with your support, we always will. The Calumet Area Industrial Commission accomplished more for local manufacturers and industry than anyone else - no trade group, no chamber organization, and no grassroots committee or organization comes close. We take local industrial concerns straight to City Hall, the County, General Assembly and Congress to keep misguided ideas from becoming law. We partner with local and national companies to help you lower the cost of running your business.
That's why every industrial company in the Calumet Area needs the CAIC. And we need you.
